After you install the Localizer code, you can begin translating your site content. It's easier than you think, just follow our step-by-step guide on how to localize your website:
Go to Menu -> Site Settings. Add your website domain, default language and general tone. Once you're satisfied, save these changes.
Go to Batch Translator -> Add Language to add the languages that you want to translate your website to. Select your language, then set up your other preferences such as Switch Rules. Make sure to keep your language in Draft mode.
Wait for Localizer to index your content in your Batch Translator tab. This can be done by users visiting pages on your website, or by visiting the pages yourself. Any untranslated phrases will appear on your Batch Translator tab.
Tick the box beside individual phrases to translate one-by-one, or tick Select All to translate in bulk.
To choose your translation type or ignore phrases, click the icon beside the individual phrase or beside Select All.
Once you've selected your translation type, you can check if you have enough credits to complete the translation. If you don't, you will not be able to go ahead with it.
Once translations are completed, go to your Visual Editor and ensure that the format of your site has not changed after translation. If it has, switch to Edit Mode and click the arrow buttons beside the phrase to make it larger or smaller until it fits.
When you're happy with your translations and site format, go back to your language settings and switch it to Live mode. Click Save and you're ready to go.
Depending on your plan, you may also have access to some other great features that you can set up.
